Our lives often resemble matches. Fresh matches will light and stay lit, but old matches may light but soon fizzle out. Our lives often represent this symbolism. With christ, our lives will light and stay lit, often ignighting others. When we go it on our own we can resemble the old matches, we may light...but when stress or failures come unless we are leaning on christ we will fizzle out.
I want my life to resemble the new matches. What do you want? Are you the fresh matches, or old?
