16 So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. 17 The
sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the
Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of
what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting
each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions.
galatians5:16,17 NLT
"you are my beloved. although you experience many difficulties in your life, i shield you all day long. you cannot imagine what your life would be like if i were not protecting you continually. the adversity i do allow you to experience is ultimately for your good and my glory. you can rest secure by trusting that my protective presence is with you always, no matter what trials you may be enduring."

often as we experience trials in our lives, we are quick to assume god has abandoned us. this couldn't be further from the truth. he is always there right beside us no matter what the situation. when we need him he carries us when we can't make it ourselves.
Lord i am thankful you carry me when i am weak. I am thankful you are always beside me, no matter what trials i am going through. I pray that we as believers won't be quick to assume you are not there, but instead to take the time to pray.
in jesus name, amen
